What’s new in Family planner Close Version 0.12.0 latest Invite links and QR codes now add people straight away: signed in, they join as soon as the link opens; signed out, right after signing in or creating an account. Everyone you invite (by link, QR code or from your DevQuake referrals) gets the family planner free, and you earn 1 NPS point for each new member. Someone you add from your referrals gets an email with the way to your family. A monthly summary for parents: chores done, points per member and new events. A new page shows what the planner does, for friends who want to know before joining. Opening a family link that is not yours now explains how to join instead of “not found”. Say how members are related — partner, boyfriend or girlfriend, cousin, aunt, grandparent, babysitter… — and to whom (“boyfriend of Ana”). Connected apps can see everyone in your families (names, roles, relations; no birthdays), so pet care can give a job to a child or a grandparent. Version 0.11.2 When a member removes their DevQuake account, what they added to your things (comments, items, ticks, photos…) stays, shown as “REMOVED_…” instead of their name. Version 0.11.1 Changes others make anywhere in the family planner, and birthdays changed on DevQuake, now show on your open page within seconds, without reloading. Version 0.11.0 Pictures load faster: lists and previews show small versions, and tapping a picture opens it in full size. “Back” links now return to the page you came from, with its filters and where you had scrolled to. Version 0.10.0 Every member can choose their own colour (“My colour” on the members page); it marks them around their picture, in the calendar and on chores. Families have their own colour for the family picture (“Family colour”, for parents), the same on every page. Twice as many colours to choose from, yellow among them; names and initials on light colours are written in dark so they stay readable. Version 0.9.1 Family pages now update by themselves when someone joins, leaves, or shares or changes their birthday, so the person who invited them sees it without reloading. Version 0.9.0 The app’s card on DevQuake and its front page now show how many members use it and its totals: families, chores done, calendar events. Works with Pet care: vaccinations, vet visits and other care dates of your pets show in the family calendar, with “Open in Pet care”. Works with the meal planner: the meals you planned show in the family calendar. Version 0.7.0 Event reminders also show as a notification: the bell in the toolbar (and on devquake.com) lists them. Reminder emails and notifications come only while you are subscribed. Calendars across apps: the family calendar also shows your shopping days, training sessions and the due dates of unpaid utility bills from the apps you connected, each with “Open in …”. Works with the utility bill manager. “Works with” now has “Disconnect” for a connected app: the two stop working together, your subscriptions and everything you made stay. Connecting again is free. Version 0.6.0 Event photos: once an event has started, everyone who sees it can add photos from the camera or the library, as many as their family has members, replace them, add a comment and tag people (pick a member or type a name). Open any photo full screen and swipe or use the arrows to move between them. Find them under “Photos” in the calendar. Version 0.5.0 Works with Shared shopping lists: connect them on DevQuake and the Today page shows your open lists, opens them with a way back here, and adds items in one step. Works with the workout tracker: your weekly training can be put in the family calendar, with “Open in Workout” on those events. “Works with” at the bottom of the page lists the apps that fit together with the family planner. Version 0.4.0 Birthdays instead of only a year of birth: day, month and an optional year, with the age next to the name and a birthday cake on the day (also on the Today page). Your own birthday comes from your DevQuake account: tap “My birthday” and allow the family planner once; a change shows in every app and DevQuake still wishes you a happy birthday. Children without an account keep their birthday in the family planner. Version 0.3.0 Photos: every member can add a photo of themselves (parents can add them for the children), shown in the member badges, also to connected families. Family picture: the family’s creator can add a picture or logo, shown next to the family’s name. Version 0.2.0 Invite links with a role: choose parent, child or helper, and whoever opens the link while signed in joins with that role at once, a child with their own account too. People from your DevQuake referrals can be added with a role as well. Connected families: connect with the family of grandparents, cousins or friends with a link. Both families see each other’s members and can invite them to events. Events for more than one family: tick who is invited from your family and connected families (everyone is ticked to start with), and add the place and the details. Events of a connected family show in your calendar with who organizes them. Reminders by email: the organizer chooses 1 hour, 1 day or 1 week before, and everyone invited who has an account gets them, in their own language. Version 0.1.1 Typing in the forms (a member’s year of birth, a chore, an event) no longer jumps out of the field after each key. The year of birth is checked: four digits and not in the future, and parents and helpers must be over 18. Version 0.1.0 The family planner is here: create your family, add the children (with or without their own account) and invite the other parent, grandparents or a babysitter with a link, a code or a QR code. Chores that repeat once, every day or on some weekdays, done by everyone or taking turns fairly, with points for each one. Today’s chores for every member in one place: tick them when they are done, or undo a tick. Points and rewards: parents turn points into pocket money or rewards and can give bonus points, with the latest entries for everyone to see. A family calendar, two weeks at a time, with all-day and weekly events for the whole family or for some members, always in your own time zone.
